Callus Treatment

Smooth, comfortable heels that feel as good as they look.

From $38~15 to 30 minResults are immediate and last two to four weeks with consistent daily moisturizing at home; neglecting aftercare leads to faster regrowth

Calluses build gradually, most people do not notice how rough their heels have become until the skin starts to crack or catch on socks. At Beauty Nails Spa, our Callus Treatment focuses precisely on the areas where hardened skin accumulates, using professional tools and a carefully sequenced softening process to reduce thickness and restore a smooth, comfortable surface. This is a targeted service, not a cosmetic one. We work with the natural structure of the foot and never shave so aggressively that the skin rebounds thicker.

Callus treatment is already fully included in every deluxe pedicure on our menu, so guests who book the Volcano Spa, Organic Detox, or Luxury Pedicure do not need to add it separately. For guests who want focused callus care as a standalone service or as an enhancement to a basic or spa pedicure, we offer it as an add-on. If your heels have been particularly neglected, a spa pedicure combined with this treatment is one of the most effective ways to start getting things back to where they should be.

Why you will love it

  • Reduces hardened skin buildup without over-removing and triggering faster regrowth
  • Relieves the discomfort of cracked or tight heel skin
  • Improves the effectiveness of any moisturizer applied afterward by removing the barrier of dead cells
  • Results are visible immediately after one treatment
  • Already included in all deluxe pedicures at no additional charge
  • Safe for diabetic clients with technician consultation, please let us know in advance

Who it is for

The Callus Treatment is for anyone whose heels or ball-of-foot skin has become thick, rough, or uncomfortable. This includes people who spend long hours on their feet, runners, those who go barefoot frequently on hard surfaces, and anyone whose skin naturally tends toward rapid callus formation. Guests new to regular pedicures often find that one focused treatment combined with consistent moisturizing at home dramatically changes the feel of their feet.

What to expect

  1. 1

    Initial Soak

The feet are soaked in warm water to hydrate and begin softening the hardened skin. This step is essential: attempting to file dry callus is less effective and more uncomfortable. We let the soak do the initial work before any tool touches the skin.

  2. 2

    Assessment

Your technician examines the heel, ball of foot, and any other areas of concern to gauge the thickness and location of the callus. This helps us calibrate how much reduction is appropriate in a single session without over-treating.

  3. 3

    Callus Reduction

A professional-grade file or paddle is used to carefully reduce the thickened skin layer by layer. We focus on the heel and ball of foot where calluses concentrate most, and we check the surface regularly to ensure we are removing only what should be removed.

  4. 4

    Exfoliation Scrub

A granular scrub is applied after the primary reduction to smooth the surface further and lift any loosened dead cells. This step blends the treated area into the surrounding skin for a natural, even texture.

  5. 5

    Conditioning Finish

A rich heel balm or conditioning lotion is massaged into the treated area. The freshly reduced skin absorbs moisture far more readily, and this step sets up the client for the best possible home-care result.

Longevity and aftercareResults are immediate and last two to four weeks with consistent daily moisturizing at home; neglecting aftercare leads to faster regrowth

  • Apply a urea-based heel balm or thick foot cream every night for the first two weeks to prevent the callus from rebuilding quickly
  • Wear socks over moisturizer to bed a few times a week for maximum penetration
  • Avoid going barefoot on hard surfaces for extended periods, which is the primary driver of callus regrowth
  • Schedule a maintenance visit every four to six weeks to stay ahead of buildup before it becomes severe again

Callus Treatment FAQs

Will one callus treatment fully solve the problem, or do I need multiple sessions?
A single session produces a visible, satisfying result for most people, but calluses are a recurring condition tied to how you use your feet. If yours have been building for months, the first session makes a meaningful improvement, and a follow-up four to six weeks later brings you to where you want to be. After that, regular maintenance, monthly or every six weeks, keeps them from coming back.
Is callus treatment included in the spa pedicures, or only the deluxe tier?
Basic callus care and exfoliation are part of every pedicure, but focused callus reduction is built into the deluxe pedicure tier without any additional charge. In a spa pedicure, exfoliation is more thorough than a classic service, but if your heels need dedicated file work, adding it specifically, or stepping up to a deluxe treatment, will give you the best outcome.
I have diabetes. Is it safe for me to have a callus treatment?
Please let us know before your appointment so we can pair you with the right technician and use a gentler approach. Many guests with diabetes receive pedicure services with us regularly. We take precautions seriously and will discuss your specific situation with you at the start of the visit.
